About the artist

Carolyn Kolt-Mosher

Carolyn considers herself a citizen of the world and currently resides in New Brunswick. Her paintings are shaped by travel, daily observation, animals, and the quiet magic of ordinary life.

Before focusing on painting, her creative practice moved through stained glass, stitching, quilting, knitting, welding yard art, home design, and garden design. That hands-on background gives her canvases warmth, texture, and a strong sense of craft.

Creative practice

A life of making, teaching, and community.

Carolyn's work often centers on animals and people, using expressive color and confident brushwork to make each subject feel personal and alive.

Her teaching and workshops extend that practice into the community, creating space for others to experiment, learn, and connect through art.
